Is your Integrated Management System really integrated with
your business?

Workshop at The Chartered Institute for IT / London WC2 / 4 May 2011

9.30am - 4.30pm Contribution to expenses £87 + VAT

Integrated Management Systems are hot - many organisations are operating this way or are working towards such a system. But how can they best be set up to effectively support continual improvement of the business?

Typically, the IMS approach follows the formalisation of two or more aspects of the business such as quality, the environment and health & safety.

A focus on integration of the compliance requirements of these standards, though, can easily get in the way of setting up an IMS that effectively supports the continual improvement of the business.

This workshop will explore ways and means of improving the effectiveness of an IMS, to increase understanding of the value of the underlying standards and to offer new insights into the true nature and power of a management system.

The day will be highly interactive to provide an environment in which practical ideas for improving the effectiveness of an IMS can be shared and evaluated.

This event will be led by Stephen Munden, standards strategist with businesskeys and Jim Wade, founder of the Business Improvement Network. John Hele of BSI will also take part.

Register your interest in this workshop and we will contact you with full details and will answer any of your questions to enable you to ensure the workshop will give you maximum benefit.
