What would make the perfect certification body audit?
|
||
Institute of Quality Assurance, London, Friday 8 December 2006. 9.30am - 4pm This event is sponsored by the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) - there is no charge. Refreshments and lunch included. IRCA is developing a new grade of ISO 9000 auditor qualification, Corporate QMS Auditor, designed to ensure that auditors can engage with the business and not just the 'quality system'. As part of the process of completing that work we invite ISO 9000 registered organisations to take part in this event. From each organisation, we'd like to see the Quality Manager, Business Improvement Manager or equivalent, plus at least one other senior manager. The event will be run using Open Space Technology, which means there will be no presentations and no preset agenda. You will be able to discuss and develop, with like-minded colleagues, the specific topics of most interest and value to you and your organisation. These topics could include actions you can take yourselves to improve the value of your audits, as well as points that you'd like your certification body to take into account in order to perfect the audits they carry out for you. The proceedings from the day will be published on the working day following the event and will be made available, not only to all participants, but also to the management of the major certification bodies and to the Institute of Quality Assurance for their consideration and feedback. And of course IRCA will be taking your requirements very seriously in finalising plans for the new Corporate QMS Auditor grade. | ||
