Owner Manager and SME support through BIN
SMEs are the lifeblood of this country and Owner Managers are the heroes of the British economy. Like parents, Owner Managers are bringing up the next generation of great companies and are often developing the business ideas that large companies aren’t smart or courageous enough to nurture within their rule bounded and risk averse environments’ which too often stifles innovation and change.
Business Leaders tell us it can be a lonely and thankless job.
BIN’s aim is to help owner managers get where they want to in life by giving them an enjoyable safe space to connect with others, share their stories, and discuss the issues that are most important to them with people on the same journey, and therefore collectively elevating thinking, learning and behaviours.
Our events for these select groups are typically held at inspiring or innovative venues such as the luxurious 5star Chewton Glen Hotel and Porsche Dealerships.
These events are hosted by PJ Stevens and various colleagues who have useful skills and extensive experience. Collectively, the BIN sessions represent three phases of a small business owner’s life: growth, exit and investment for the future.
BIN aims to keep the event costs low and in some cases events are free. We aim to hold four of these exclusive events a year, three of which will be by invitation only, and we will have group event for everyone once a year to Celebrate.
In addition, BIN will run a number of larger Open Space Events to help business leaders and managers to work through specific topics in order to improve their businesses.
These events are not ‘just another networking event’. The discussions we have are meaningful, always conducted under Chatham House rules of confidentiality and greatly appreciated by guests. Our aim is to build a tightly knit group of trusted colleagues, working more tightly than a typical networking group. Our groups discuss important matters together, advise each other, trade together, and importantly grow together.
